Cate’s favorite aspects of working at Capstone Hospice include the supportive and caring environment, and the emphasis on professional growth and learning. She credits her manager, Robin K, for her strong leadership and guidance, which empowers her to excel in her role daily.
Outside of work, Cate is an avid reader and audiobook enthusiast, with Ken Follett’s “Pillars of the Earth” ranking as her all-time favorite book. Her love for reading enriches her understanding and empathy, qualities that shine through in her patient care.
Cate’s charity of choice is WaterAid, an organization that she feels passionately about due to its mission to improve access to clean water, hygiene, and sanitation in the world’s poorest communities. Her choice reflects her broader commitment to making a difference in the lives of others, both through her professional work and personal advocacy.
