Financial Assistance for Hospice Patients and Their Families
The Fragile First Foundation of Capstone Hospice provides financial assistance to hospice patients and families for things not covered under the Medicare/Medicaid Hospice benefit. The families who benefit do not have to a patient of Capstone Hospice. A hospice social worker makes the final determination regarding financial need.

Help Us Help Those Who Need It Most
The Fragile First Foundation is an approved 501(c)3 organization under guidelines established by the Internal Revenue Service. Contributions to the Foundation are separate from Capstone Hospice’s general operating budget and are designed for the uncovered, and often unique, needs of hospice patience and their families in financial distress.

Because everyone should have access to quality hospice care when they need it the most.
The Fragile First Foundation is rooted in the same values of its parent organization, Capstone Hospice LLC.
We acknowledge the role spirituality plays at the end of life and embrace the missional aspect of what we do.Regular home visitations from a nurse practioner supervised by a licensed physician.
Managing employee turnover leads to positive patient outcomes. Because of this, patients and families benefit from consistent caregivers.
Nurse caseloads are continually monitored and kept at manageable levels. And company leadership is always readily available.
We design nurse territories around the communities where they live. This limited geographical scope helps to facilitate rapid response to customer needs.
Involvement In Our Communities
Quarterly service projects are a part of our culture. We believe that giving back to our communities is essential.
We can be both agile and prompt in addressing customer needs. We believe customers should have immediate access to key decision-makers.
Our owner has almost 30 years of experience in the hospice industry in the Atlanta area. We incentivize Nurses and Nursing Assistants to achieve and maintain Certified Hospice & Palliative Nurse (CHPN & CHPNA) certification.
