Diane Murray has been named this month’s Hero of the Month, recognizing the compassion, dedication, and spirit of service she brings to her work.
For Diane, hospice care is an opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with patients and their loved ones. She considers it a privilege to walk alongside them during such an important journey. Diane enjoys learning about each patient as a whole person, including their experiences, accomplishments, and unique life story. She believes every patient is far more than an illness.
Diane’s favorite part of working at Capstone Hospice is its caring, community-focused culture. She especially appreciates the organization’s service projects and outreach beyond direct patient care. Connecting with people throughout the service area and making a difference on many levels makes her work even more rewarding.
Away from work, Diane enjoys traveling, biking, walking, and attending her daughters’ volleyball matches and college sporting events. She has chosen Georgia Agape as the charity she would like to support.
Congratulations, Diane, and thank you for your fine work, compassionate care, and commitment to serving patients, families, and the community!
