This month, Capstone Hospice is proud to recognize Pam McAdams as our Hero of the Month. Pam’s warmth, compassion, and deep understanding of what truly matters in life have made her an invaluable part of the Capstone family and an exceptional caregiver to the patients and families she serves.
Pam was drawn to hospice because of the unique opportunity it offers to form meaningful and trusting relationships during one of life’s most intimate and vulnerable phases. She finds great fulfillment in being present with patients and their families during the final chapter of life—offering comfort, understanding, and care. Through this work, Pam has gained a profound appreciation for the importance of people, love, and peace—values that guide her both professionally and personally.
At Capstone, Pam thrives in a culture of camaraderie and support. She credits her incredible team for always being there through challenges, ready to lend a hand and lift one another up. This spirit of collaboration strengthens not only their internal bonds but also the quality of care that Capstone is known for.
Outside of work, Pam treasures her role as “Gammy” to two sweet grandsons. She also enjoys spending time on the water, swimming and boating, or relaxing with a good book. These moments of joy and connection recharge her spirit and reflect the same love and peace she brings to her work every day.
